9th Annual Wild West Air Fest

Labor Day Weekend in Steamboat Springs, Colorado is packed with entertainment in the air, on the mountain and all over town! It's a Labor Day celebration for the whole family.

On Saturday between 9am and 2pm stop by the Farmers' Market on 6th Street and shop ‘til you drop at Steamboat’s semi-annual downtown sidewalk sale.

Grab your cowboy hats and throw on your boots for the Rocky Mountain PBR Bull Bash on Sunday. This thrilling event pushes cowboys’ skills to their limit as they take on top-ranked bulls to compete for a big cash prize.

Nearly 300 road cyclists compete in the Steamboat Springs Stage Race, a four stage race which includes a time trial, circuit race, road race, and criterium.

Wild West Aircrafts

An exciting part of the Wild West Air Fest is that you can be apart of the action and fly in the Douglas C-47 Skytrain, or Dakota, a military transport aircraft that was developed from the Douglas DC-3 airliner. It was used extensively by the Allies during World War II and remained in front line operations through the 1950s with a few remaining in operation to this day. C-47 and many other plane rides are available. Please be ready to pay for your ride on site at the event. We except cash or credit.
