Traci Day-Fenton
Chair
Traci has been in the Yampa valley since 2002 working as a commercial product distributor, human resource consultant, executive behavioral coach/consultant and director of business development for Woodstone Consulting. Traci is currently in the position of Development & Special Events for the Healthcare Foundation for the Yampa Valley. Prior to moving to Steamboat Traci attended Louisiana State University and received her Bachelors of Science in Speech Communication. She then spent time in Houston, Texas working in Human Resource Management. Traci is a graduate of Leadership Steamboat, is active in the community and has an extensive fundraising background working with organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Routt County EDC and Humble Ranch.
Stacy Huffman
Vice Chair
Stacy is originally from Iowa where she graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. Stacy previously worked for Yellowstone National Park’s lodging company, before moving to Steamboat to work at the Front Desk of the Steamboat Grand. She is currently the Director of Owner Relations for the Steamboat Grand. Stacy was awarded the inaugural Young Professional of the Year in October.
Amy McFadden
Treasurer
Amy moved to Steamboat in 2005 and has played an active role in the community since arriving. She is currently with Rocky Mountain Youth Corps as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer developing the Service Learning Institute for youth in Routt County. Before becoming a VISTA she was the Regional Program Manager for the Steamboat branch of SOS Outreach Society. Amy is working on completing her Masters Degree in Non-Profit Management through Regis University.
Stacey Richardson
Secretary
Stacey is a native Coloradoan who attended Mesa State College, receiving a BBA with a concentration in Marketing. Stacey moved to Steamboat in 2005 and has worked ever since for the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation. She began her career working in Pre-Sold Services and then moved to Central Reservations. She is currently a Hotel Reservations Supervisor at the Steamboat Grand.
Loryn Kasten
Outreach Chair
Loryn is the Public Relations Manager at the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation. A native of Colorado and graduate of the University of Colorado, she has been a part of the ski industry and public relations for the past 10 years working at resorts in Colorado and West Virginia. Kasten has previously served on the board of directors for Rotary International High Noon Club, Leadership La Plata and the Women’s Resource Center in Durango. She is currently on the board of directors for Partner’s in Routt County and on the committee for Steamboat’s Relay for Life.
Chris Tammuci
Professional Development Chair
Chris is the Manager of customer service, warranty and international sales for Big Agnes. He moved to Steamboat after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and an MBA from California State University. He is also a member of the Honey Stinger/Trek Mountain bike race team, a volunteer with the Snowboard Outreach Society and a current member of Leadership Steamboat.
Ryan Marsden
Fresh Air Chair
A native of Steamboat Springs, Ryan returned to the Yampa Valley after graduating from the University of Colorado with a degree in Environmental Design. He is currently a designer and project manager with Kelly and Stone Architects and has recently received LEED Accreditation from the US Green Building Council. Ryan is currently a member of Leadership Steamboat.
Mary Wirta
Events and Networking Chair
Mary is a graduate of University of North Dakota with a Bachelors Degree in Management. Her career includes HR and management consulting with Personnel Decision International in Minneapolis. Mary moved to Steamboat in 2001 and worked for the City of Steamboat Springs in the Department of Planning Services. She is currently the Recruiter for Yampa Valley Medical Center. She earned her PHR (Professional in Human Resources) in 2009 and is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Steamboat.
Blythe Terrell
Philanthropic Chair
Blythe is originally from St. Louis and graduate from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in Journalism. She began her career as a copy editor at the Austin-American Statesman newspaper and moved to Steamboat in early 2008, where she covered business and the town of Hayden for the Steamboat Pilot & Today. She recently became the city editor of the paper. Blythe is also an author of a self-published children’s novel, “The Haunted Library.”
