Become a YPN monthly event Host!

Our monthly events rotate among several formats, from evening networking opportunities featuring a guest speaker to lunchtime instructional sessions to open house-style mixers.

Evening events featuring community guest speakers give YPN members an opportunity to gain insight into the background, career struggle and successes, and career advice of a successful businessperson.

Instructional events focus on a specific topic, such as professional development. A guest facilitator provides an interactive experience for YPN members during the lunch hour.

Occasional open house-style events allow current and prospective YPN members to mingle in a relaxed, fun environment. Monthly events also occasionally feature an outing into the community, such as a tour of a working ranch in Routt County.

We strive to hold each event at a unique location in Steamboat. For many events, a Chamber member restaurant or caterer provides a cash refreshment bar and delicious food.

In additional to our monthly events, YPN committees will also put on smaller group activities such as an outdoor activity, volunteer project or educational seminar.

Tour de Forks Scholarship:
Funds collected from the October 2011 Tour de Forks event have created two $250 scholarships for seniors who are hoping to pursue further education after high school.  For information about the Tour de Forks fundraiser and scholarship please contact Matt Wilcox, or 970-875-7005.
