Steamboat Stockdog Challenge 

Day and Time: Saturday-Monday, Sept 4-6, 8:00am-5:00pm 
Where: Stanko Ranch in Steamboat Springs, 3 1/2 miles from the Bud Werner Library on 20 Mile Road (aka CR33 or 13th St.)

About the event: Experience the thrill of watching the smartest dogs in the world show off their skills at the 7th Annual Steamboat Stock Dog Challenge. Showcasing some of the top border collies in the country, this is a sheepdog field trial where handlers, using only their voice and whistles, direct their dogs to guide sheep through obstacles in a field. Join us at the Stanko Ranch on Saturday, Sunday & Monday, September 4th-6th. You'll be amazed when you see the incredible teamwork between handlers and their dogs, even when they are hundreds of yards apart!
