About the Workshop: Mark Spragg, noted Wyoming author, will lecture on the art of writing. Following the lecture, Mark will engage in a conversation about writing, ranging from mechanics to the "life" of writing. Writers, active and aspiring, will find this workshop a wonderful opportunity to explore the written form of the art of expression.

About the Instructor: Mark Spragg hails from Wyoming, and his books are a significant contribution to the literature of the West. Recognized by the Mountains and Plains Independent Bookstore Association, his books tell the story of people, ranching and the land, and resonate with the Yampa Valley.
Mark Spragg broke on the national scene 6 years ago with his third novel, An Unfinished Life, widely acclaimed and made into a popular movie starring Morgan Freeman and Robert Redford. Now the main characters return in Bone Fire, a mysterious, deep and dark story of renewal. Mark's first work, Where Rivers Change Direction, a memoir, won the Mountains and Plains Independent Booksellers Association Award.
