A Nature Photo Shoot at Fish Creek Falls

Where: Meet in the Bud Werner Memorial Library parking lot, then carpool to Fish Creek Falls

About the Workshop:
This workshop features photography and hiking open to all skill levels. Workshop participants will meet at Bud Werner Memorial Library before departing for Fish Creek Falls. Home to a 280-foot waterfall and abundant wildlife, Fish Creek Falls is an ideal setting for easy hiking and nature photography. The session will start with a short discussion before participants start shooting. There will be a break to discuss the photos being taken and to talk more about photography. Participants will return to the Library parking lot by 5pm.

The workshop is non-technical, and is suited to all levels of experience and all types of cameras. All levels of hiking experience are welcome; Fish Creek Falls features trails accessible to all.

About the Artist: Judy Jones, a longtime Steamboat Springs resident, has more than 40 years experience in the photography field. A background in photojournalism and a love of the Western lifestyle led her to find her niche documenting the wildlife and nature that surrounds us.

Bring:
- Your personal camera (digital or film), with a clean memory card (4 MB for larger cameras, 2 MB for point-and-shoot cameras) or extra film (at least 6 rolls of 36-exposure film)
