“Getting Your Act Together”

About the Artist: Michael Brumbaugh pursued his MFA in Directing, Stage Management and Theatre History at Ohio University and has an extensive educational and experiential background in directing, acting and stage management in professional, college, and community productions. He has directed Harvey and All Shook Up, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Godspell, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Steel Magnolias.
About the Workshop: Geared toward the Beginner / Intermediate level actor (or aspiring actor) 12 years and older. This energetic and interactive workshop will cover basic acting techniques and approaches using improvisation, theatre games, and brief scene work.  Even if you’ve never been on stage but have wanted to try acting, this is for you! Class is limited to 20 people.
Ticket Price: $20.00
Students should bring: If possible, please prepare beforehand a one minute or less MEMORIZED scene for the best possible experience (you will be coached, but not judged!).
