About the Workshop: Geared toward the beginner / intermediate level actor (or aspiring actor) 12 years or older, this energetic and interactive workshop will cover basic acting techniques and approaches using improvisation, theatre games, and brief scene work. Even if you’ve never been on stage but have wanted to try acting, this is for you! Class is limited to 20 people.

About the Instructor: Stuart Handloff, Artistic Director for the Great American Laughing Stock Company  has been active as an actor, lighting designer, director, and producer for community and educational theatre for 38 years in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Wellington, NZ and Steamboat Springs. He is a graduate of the Masters Degree program in theatre directing from Toi Whakaari, the New Zealand National Drama School and Victoria University.

Bring: Please prepare before hand a one minute or less MEMORIZED scene. If not possible, you may bring any theatrical scenes you wish to be coached on.
