About the Workshop: One of three theater-focused workshops Stuart Handloff will teach throughout the weekend, this session explores the contemporary interpretation and understanding of the works of William Shakespeare.

About the Artist: Handloff has been active as an actor, lighting designer, director and producer in community, educational and professional theater for 40 years in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New Zealand and Steamboat Springs. He is a graduate of the Master’s degree program in theater directing from Toi Whakaari, the New Zealand National Drama School. Handloff is the founder and artistic director of the Piknik Theatre Festival, a summertime outdoor drama event in Steamboat Springs.
