Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for youth ages 12-6, and FREE for 5 and under. Add to your experience with a ride on a B-25 Bomber or Douglas C-47, rides still available. Wild West Airfest Planes:
An exciting part of the Wild West Air Fest is that you can be apart of the action and fly in the Pacific Prowler, a B-25 Mitchell World War II Bomber. This fascinating plane is one of just a handful of B-25s that still fly today. The B-25 Mitchell Bomber was made famous on the daring Doolittle Raid on Tokyo which took place four months after the events at Pearl Harbor. The Douglas C-47 Skytrain or Dakota is a military transport aircraft that was developed from the Douglas DC-3 airliner. It was used extensively by the Allies during World War II and remained in front line operations through the 1950s with a few remaining in operation to this day. B-25, C-47 and many other plane rides are available!

Volunteer Experience:
Do you have a passion for airplanes or flying? The 6th Annual Wild West Air Fest has plenty of amazing airplanes to ogle at; whether you love new or old there is something for everyone. Come help us out in our Kidspace where you will help kids to build model airplanes out of candy and wood or even a Styrofoam rocket ship. If you’re more into flying, help the kids while they navigate the airplane simulators. Every volunteer will receive free admission into the event, a free volunteer t-shirt, and a free dawn patrol flight around the Yampa Valley. For more information about volunteering please contact Paulette at 970-875-7006.
