The Yampa River Art Stroll Artist Application

In an effort to cultivate fresh ideas, provide the most dynamic experience possible for our festival goers and to create an equal opportunity for all who wish to contribute to the 2nd Annual Steamboat All Arts Festival, we are now accepting applications for artists for this year’s Yampa River Art Stroll. The Yampa River Art Stroll will be the heart of the event and will showcase juried local, regional, and national visual artists. Thursday, August 20th 
•5 P.M.- Avett Brothers - Free Summer Concert Series at the Base of the Ski Area
•5-6:30 P.M.- Seminars at Steamboat Presents Alice Rivlin at the Strings Festival Pavilion
•7-8 P.M.- Voices on the Wind slide presentation and book signing with author Bonnie McGee at the Bud Werner Memorial Library
•8-10 P.M.- Sips & Sweets at participating restaurants


Friday, August 21st 
•10 A.M.-6 P.M.- Yampa River Art Stroll  
•11 A.M.- Guided Gallery Tours, sign up at the Yampa River Art Stroll in the Information Booth (tours again at 1pm and 3pm)
•5 P.M.- Design District Downtown Stroll
•5 P.M.- Off the Beaten Path Poetry Slam at the Bud Werner Memorial Library
•5:30-8 P.M.- Plein Air Artists Reception at the Steamboat Art Museum www.steamboatartmuseum.org 
•8 P.M.- George Winston concert at the Strings Festival Pavilion. Click Here to purchase tickets for George Winston.
•8-10 P.M.- Sips & Sweets at participating restaurants

Saturday, August 22nd 
•10 A.M.-6 P.M.- Yampa River Art Stroll 
•10 A.M.-3 P.M.- Plein Air Quickdraw painting on local ranch with barbeque at Wolf Run Ranch www.steamboatartmuseum.org 
•11 A.M.- Guided Gallery Tours, sign up at the Yampa River Art Stroll in the Information Booth (tour again at 1pm )
•11 A.M.-11:30 A.M.- Public Art Dedication of Sculpture, "Let the Music Play"
•12 NOON-6 P.M.- Performances on the Yampa Stage at the Yampa River Art Stroll
•5:30 P.M.- Film & Feast event with Dori Weiss at the St. Cloud Mountain Club
•6:30 P.M.- Loco di Vino! Fundraiser for Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School & Camp
•7:30 P.M.- Steamboat Springs Orchestra concert at the Strings Festival Pavilion
•8-10 P.M.- Sips & Sweets at participating restaurants

Sunday, August 23rd

Volunteer for the Arts! 

We couldn’t do this without you!!

Looking for a unique experience?  Something you’ve never done before? Or something you may have a passion for? The Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association is seeking volunteers for the most talked about event of the year, the Steamboat All Arts Festival.  The All Arts Festival is a four day collaborative event highlighting all forms of the arts including music, performing, visual, literary and culinary arts. 

We are looking for volunteers from Thursday, August 19th through Sunday, August 22nd. We have a variety of opportunities available with various time commitments. We are looking to fill the following positions with two to four hour time commitments:

• TIPS certified volunteers at the Art Stroll selling beverages
• Artist help, ticketing, souvenir sales and hospitality suite help at the Art Stroll
• Setup and breakdown help at the Yampa River Art Stroll
• Ticketing and information at the workshops
• Will call and ticketing at the Opera performance
• TIPS certified volunteers at the Opera performance selling beverages
• Parking attendants, ticketing, and ushers at the Orchestra performance

This is your chance to help establish a new event in Steamboat!
