Steamboat Springs July 4th Celebration & 107th Annual Cowboys' Roundup Days
Friday, July 2nd - Sunday, July 4th, 2010Fouth of July Fireworks

For over 100 years Steamboat has celebrated Independence Day in true western fashion. Cowboys’ Roundup Days celebrates the Western Heritage native to the Yampa Valley with events for the entire family. Kick back in your boots at several community events including, a community all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, the annual parade down Lincoln Avenue, Pioneer Days Block Party featuring a free community concert and root beer floats for the kids, evening rodeo, and one of the states largest fireworks display.

Join us for a breathtaking fireworks display at historic Howelsen Hill and celebrate July 4th with Steamboat tradition. This nighttime extraviganza will begin at dark, roughly 9:00 P.M. For the best viewing location, you can get front row seats at the base of Howelsen Hill, the oldest ski area in continuous operation in the state.

This fun filled weeked also includes a REAL cattle drive where local ranchers will drive 100 pair of cattle from their ranch down Lincoln Avenue to Romick Arena. These cattle will then play a part in the Ranch Rodeo where local ranches compete against one another in the Old West tradition.

Extend your vacation to the following weekend when the 30th Annual Bank of the West Hot Air Balloon Rodeo returns to Steamboat Springs. Click here to learn more.
