The Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association and the Steamboat Springs Economic Development Council are pleased to present the 2014 Economic Summit. This well-attended annual educational and networking event delivers relevant and thought-provoking content on economic issues to business and community leaders in the Yampa Valley.
This year’s program will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Summit with a half-day program that will explore the regional, national and global trends that will influence our local economy over the next twenty years.
Summit speakers include economist KC Conway, Chief Economist for Colliers International and a former advisor to the Federal Reserve, presenting a big picture view of the national economy; State Demographer Elizabeth Garner to present demographic trends; RRC Associates looking closer to home at Colorado’s mountain resort market; and keynote speaker Thomas Frey, the Executive Director and Senior Futurist at the DaVinci Institute.
