Wild West Air Fest, August 30 - 31, 2014

Do you have a passion for airplanes or flying? The Annual Wild West Air Fest has plenty of amazing airplanes to ogle at; whether you love new or old, there is something for everyone.

Come get up close and personal with the vintage planes we need assistance with crowd control and a variety of other event tasks. The Wild West Air Fest runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. Every volunteer will receive free admission into the event, lunch, and a volunteer t-shirt.

Saturday, August 30 and Sunday August 31 at Bob Adams Airport

Fence Control 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. or 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. (opening fencing for planes)
Entrance 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. or 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Zero Waste 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. or 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. (assisting in the Zero Waste initiative)

Winter Carnival, February 4 - 8, 2015

Volunteer for one of the longest running events in Steamboat and the oldest, continuous Winter Carnival west of the Mississippi. The Street Events on Saturday and Sunday of the event include horses pulling kids down Lincoln Ave on skis, a shovel race, and many other events celebrating winter and skiing. Come out and help us setup and run this amazing event. Voluteers also receive a free breakfast burrito from Creekside Cafe after morning setup.

Steamboat Marathon, Half Marathon, & 10K, June 7, 2015

Help us to congratulate runners as they finish the Marathon, Half Marathon or 10K. Or get in the action at one of thirteen aid stations placed along the beautiful course starting at Hahn’s Peak and ending in town. All volunteers receive a free volunteer t-shirt and lunch. Rocky Mountain Mustang Round-Up, June 18 - 21, 2015

Have you ever judged cars or wanted to judge cars? No experience is necessary; if you enjoy looking at cars and their fine details then the Annual Rocky Mountain Mustang Round-Up is the event for you. With over 400 beautifully detailed Mustangs, judging takes place on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. All judges receive a free an Annual Rocky Mountain Mustang Judge t-shirt (sizes limited).

Cowboys' Roundup Days & Fourth of July Celebration, July 2 - 5, 2015

Come out and help us check-in and organize the parade float entires for a few hours before the parade on the Fourth of July. Get up close with this year's entries and still have plenty of opportunity to enjoy the parade afterwards!

Hot Air Balloon Rodeo, July 11 - 12, 2015

You can help over 30 hot air balloons launch over the Yampa Valley. We are looking for volunteers to work both Saturday and Sunday of event weekend. No experience is necessary. If you aren't interested in the balloon crew or can only commit one day, become a judge in the exciting "Splash and Dash" competition where the hot air balloons dip into the water to be judged on biggest splash and longest dash! All volunteers will receive an Annual Hot Air Balloon Rodeo t-shirt and breakfast.

Steamboat All Arts Festival, August 14 - 16, 2015

Enjoy art or just enjoy talking to people about Steamboat Springs? We are seeking volunteers for the Steamboat All Arts Festival Art Stroll. We need volunteers Friday through Sunday of event weekend to welcome guests and answer questions about our beautiful town. We have opportunities available with various time commitments, and plenty of time to check out all the amazing artwork!
